Stylish But Functionality is Marginal for My Use Showed up timely even though we were in the midst of snow and ice. So A+ for service. I received a very nice email from the seller with directions how to preheat the carafe; pour piping hot coffee into the vessel and to NOT allow the hot coffee to cool because coffee gets cold quickly if you allow it to sit out (who knew?)It’s very stylish. Fabulous Carafe! This is a beautiful Carafe. Very sleek and NOT made with cheap materials. It does not keep my coffee hot for 24 hours, (more like 10 hours), but it is still slightly warm after that amount of time. It is hugely dependent on whether or not the lid was shut tight enough. Knowing this I was extra careful and tried it again and it still did not keep it HOT for 24 hours.
