Manufacturer issue, do not buy This is a great looking product and it makes excellent coffee. It gets only one star because the first night I had it all the water drained out if the reservoir onto my counter. I thought I may have not seated the reservoir correctly but that was not it. This item leaks. Read other reviews to confirm this is not a one off issue.
Pretty Darn Good I tried a couple Kitchen Aid coffee makers and I like this one the best. I like that the water compartment is removable and much bigger opening to fill, preventing spills, than other brands. This model has a couple bells and whistles like a “bold” button that some how makes the coffee a little stronger maybe by brewing slower.
