  1. Can’t pull a good shot This is the second espresso+steamer I have purchased. My first one (DeLonghi) was half the price but made a perfect shot (that’s all that was good about that machine). This Breville has the best steamer you could ask for but it pulls shots so fast that you never see the three colors. I’ve tamped it as hard as I could, I’ve done the industry standard 30 pounds, and I’ve tried two different espresso ground coffees. Still, the double shot is pulling in under 15 seconds. It’s not a bad tasting…

  2. Great espresso machine! I have had several pretty inexpensive espresso machines in the past, but this one is a step above the basics. It’s very easy to use, and it makes a great shot. In fact, this is the 2nd one I’ve owned. My friend gave me the first one, her husband wasn’t using it any longer. We lost it during a flood, and when I went to replace it, I bought the exact same one. Didn’t even want an upgraded version. It cleans up easily, the bottom slides out and apart for a quick rinse, and the water reservoir…

  3. I wasn’t too worried about that though because I bought this machine mainly for lattees and cappucchinos and I can say that it was the best cappucchino I’ve ever made For the past couple of days I’ve been researching what espresso machine to buy. I stumbled upon this one andafter making my first cappuccino today, I can tell I made the correct decision. I am an avid coffee drinker, but am by no means an espressoaficionado. I can’t ever recall ordering a plain espresso in a café so if you are ordering this machine particularly for espresso, I couldn’treccommend it one way or another. I can say though that the double espresso shot came out…
