the great reviews of the quality of the coffee it produces … The choice for 5-6 cup coffeemakers is quite limited above and beyond the Mr Coffee caliber. Maybe I am a coffee snob but I could never seriously consider one of those. My need for smaller size had alot to do with the tiny size of my kitchen and counter space. Rarely do we need “company” size pots of coffee. I decided on the coffeemaker because of the size, the great reviews of the quality of the coffee it produces and it’s clean-line modern look.
Hope the manufacturer will replace this unit with one that doesn’t leak I was loving this coffee maker until it started leaking a lot of water during each brew from the back of the unit. I have just contacted the manufacturer to see if they will send a replacement. Hope they respond asap as I don’t want to lose my faith in this product. [Update] Well, the reseller responded, in my opinion, unsatisfactory. I was expecting after pay about 60 bucks for this 5 cup coffee maker that they would replace the product since I’ve had it less than 6 months before it started…
I am in love! I must say I was skeptical because sometimes reviews are really off base. I was deciding between this and the mr coffee thermal vaccume coffee maker. I previously had a 12 cup kitchenaid massive pro coffee maker. I broke the caraf so I was in need of a new carafe but since the caraf was worth 30 dollars I decided to search for a new coffee maker. This came up on reddit as a good choice.
