Huge LEAK on first use! Nice coffee STAINS ON CARPET! We got this for our team event. On its very first use, it started leaking profusely when the coffee was getting hot. It stained the carpet very nicely – not! So if you have light-colored carpet, beware of this West Bend coffee urn. Great for adults only I use this in my home on the Sabbath to keep water hot from Friday night until Saturday night. It works well for that purpose, and I was very happy, when my old one died after many years, to find that West Bend still makes this item. I want to warn users, however, that this urn is dangerous around small children, It is quite hot on the outside, and a child could easily operate the spigot and scald himself. I am happy to be able to buy this, because I don’t have any young children in my home…
