  1. Better I first thought I received this and was initially underwhelmed. It’s definitely solid, but the plunger doesn’t seem to fit snugly and there were coffee grounds in my cup. It wasn’t a ton, but it wasn’t just the silt, there were some decent size grains as I used a medium grind in my burr mill. I was hoping for a nice, snug fit for the plunger, so no coffee grounds would escape into my coffee.I do like the fact that the pour spout can be closed off to seal in heat. Great, if you like “cowboy coffee” (grounds in your java) The reason I purchased this is because my husband makes the coffee every morning, pours me a cup in my insulated travel mug, then enjoys his coffee from a mug. We were using a non-insulated, glass Bodum, which we really like. But, he would have to reheat his coffee after the first couple cups.
