Worth the price. I primarily use this for hot water. I like the fact the top is sturdy and the carafe seems to hold in the heat for a long time. I can get through the morning and a good part of the early afternoon and have a hot cup of tea. The simply levered top makes it easy to clean although when screwing it on, it doesn’t thread too smoothly. The mini milk pitcher and cleaning brush are a bonus. Overall so far so good.
Beautiful and kept hot water hot for a really long time This is such a lovely carafe. I put hot water from the teapot in in the afternoon and it was still warm the next morning. I forgot about it because it was thanksgiving. I’ve only put hot water in, but the cleaning brush that comes with it it quite handy. Hot Coffee! When I make a cup of coffee I sip it twice and then I become so busy that it turns cold. My coffee ends up in the microwave and I go thru the routine of warming it 3-4 times.
