Gimmick, its another appliance that’ll sit in my cabinet and never get used. Based on the reviews I’ve seen this is the best thing since sliced bread but I can’t find the value. In fact, there are much better burr grinders out there, you’re better off with one of those and spoon feeding your solo k-cup than trying to get this thing to “dispense” the coffee into the solo k-cup.
For K-cup, not so much. For drip, TOTALLY! Love love love this item.
Marginal but convenient I was at first pretty happy with the convenience of this little grinder. I had been filling about five or six K-cups at a time with my regular grinder, which was a tedious and messy thing to do. Besides, then there was time between grinding and brewing, which seems to make a difference. I found that this was much more convenient, but it overfilled the cups and wasted coffee. Some tinkering with the settings sort of solved that, but I was using the refillable K-cups that I had. When I tried the…
