A disingenuous description. I feel the “stainless steel” description was misrepresentation. It was plastic, and, although I really liked the design, I sent the product back. If you say stainless in your description, it should have stainless in your product. Beauty follows function and design, and exclusive of the beauty, this product felt cheap.
Couldn’t be happier. So simple, so good looking, I love it. This is a very straight forward coffee maker – paper filters (#4), replaceable water tank, and a hot carafe plate. I love that there are no timers, pads of buttons, or lcd screen. The carafe pours very accurately as well. I’ve only had it for a week and will post an update in a couple months, but SO FAR SO GOOD!Update August, 2014 – Still love it. I routinely run cycles with vinegar and water and it looks and smells like new.
Poorly designed shiny piece of crap So many things wrong with this coffee maker. Very plasticy and cheap. Not familiar with the brand but wanted a decent looking coffee maker that didn’t take up a lot of counter space. On that front it delivers. Its like monet made a coffee maker. From a distance it looks fine. When you get close and look at it it’s pretty much a mess. Lots of plastic and seems really poorly made. The design functionality is lacking too. The placement of the cord near the water tank means you really cannot place…
