You get what you pay for So, you get what you pay for, I understand. This is a cheap no frills coffee maker, and it works just fine, but there are a couple things about it that indicate the reason for the price. The carafe is “left handed”, in that if you are holding it in your right hand the measurement lines are on the far side of the glass. Perfect Exactly what I wanted. A coffee pot that I could set up by just plugging it in, pouring water, coffee grounds in filter, turn it on. COFFEE!! Hate k cups and all the fancy machines that make something that does not taste like coffee. And for cheap. Love it.
