HISTORY OF ESPRESSO: Espresso is a specialty coffee brewed by forcing small amounts of nearly boiling water under pressure through finely ground coffee beans. Espresso is generally thicker and more highly concentrated than coffee brewed by other methods, often featuring a creamy foam on top. Espresso was invented in Italy at the beginning of the 20th century by Luigi Bezzera. Bezzera invented a method of creating coffee using steam pressure, providing a quick way to make a single cup of coffee. The original Italian name meant “pressed coffee,” with a connotation of speed and efficiency EXCEPTIONAL DESIGN: The Primula 3-Cup Aluminum Espresso Maker features a modern, stylish design with a high-quality aluminum body. The handle is made from a heat resistant plastic that not only provides you with a firm and reliable grip, but also allows your hand to stay cool during use. Its efficient layout forces pressurized water through coffee grounds, and deposits a rich, full bodied espresso blend into the serving chamber FIRST USE INSTRUCTIONS: Unscrew the top and remove the filter funnel from the base. Locate the filter plate and rubber washer, and remove both. Wash all parts in hot water and then reassemble. It is recommended that your first espresso be thrown away as to ensure the optimal taste of ensuing brews SUBSEQUENT USES AND CLEANING: To use, fill the base with fresh water up to the level of the safety valve and insert the filter funnel. Fill the filter funnel with finely ground coffee (do not press down), and screw the assembled top firmly to the base. Place the espresso maker on low to medium heat, and within 3-5 minutes, delicious espresso will fill the serving chamber. Serve immediately. To clean, hand wash only. Do not use a dishwasher

Don’t pay that ridiculous price for the Bialetti! I’ve waited until I had a chance to give this unit a thorough test drive before reviewing it. Have made perhaps 50 or 60 pots with it.When I was shopping I didn’t want to pay for the Bialetti 12-cup, because I thought it was too much money. Love the Bialetti quality but bought the Primula to save some dough. It looks like it’s gone up since then, but still less than half the cost of the Bialetti.I can happily report that the Primula Moka pot works perfectly. Just make…
Do not recommend Would not recommend plastic handle does not hold well. Only 2.5 months in and the handle fell off. Espresso maker brews great but manufacturer should work on making handle sturdy. Otherwise you find yourself purchasing another espresso maker. This is my second espresso maker. UPDATE: As always, Amazon was very helpful and mail me a new espresso maker at no cost. I am grateful and hope it will last longer than the previous one. I would like to express that this is not an amazon issue but the…
Puerto Rican Coffee!!!! Yum! This Greca is the typical coffee maker we use in Puerto Rico to make our famous cafe con leche. It doesn’t need to be expensive to work great, and this particular coffee pot is no exception. This small size (the 3 cup one) is perfect for making one mugful of coffee with milk, or 3 expresso size black coffees. To get the best results, understand you need to use finely ground coffee, expresso type grind. The larger, more flakey American type grind will result in weak, disgusting, thin coffee. I…
