Same/Same and EZ on the pocketbook OK, needed a new coffee maker and while purchasing a new SS Cuisinart coffee maker, it was noted on the outside of the box it came with one charcoal water filter. So at the same time I purchased a box containing two water filters for $8.99 (part number DCC-RWF). After a few months, checked on the one I installed that came with the coffee maker and sure enough, it was dirty. So it does help. Great price & quality Nice to get a year’s supply of charcoal filters at one time – and these were very reasonably priced. I do run the filter under cold water (after placing in my Cuisinart holder) for 30 seconds – even though it’s not specified on the box of filters, the filters that came with my original machine did include those instructions so I continue to do that to rinse any fine charcoal dust particles that may be on the filter.
Great filters – No need to spend extra money buying the Cuisinart brand!! These filters are great – they work just like the ones sold at Cuisinart and these cost a fraction of the price for the Cuisinart ones.
