Filter
The double filter is laser-cut with an additional mesh filter inside. Unlike paper filters which are a waste of money and rob you of the essential oils natrually found in coffee, this filter will provide a clear rich tasting balanced coffee.
Carafe
The carafe is made from borosilicate glass, which is resistant to thermal shock, it also does not absorb any odors, chemicals or residue. Giving you a fresh tasting coffee every time you brew. There are 3 markings, at 2 cups (9 oz) 3 cups (13.5 oz) and 4 cups (18 oz) The carafe has a 20 oz capacity.

Higher Quality Than Expected I chose this brewer because the filter looked to be much higher grade than others. Note that this one has fine enough filter to use pre ground coffee, where many require sea salt sized grounds. I was considering the Coffee Gator model until I saw how big the holes in the filter were. Overall it is very high quality.
Love this! When our coffee maker died, I went for something with no moving parts. This is very, very nice. I love the double layers of the filter. Along with a coffee grinder, I can make really pleasing decaf (with a touch of caffeine). The rich taste is really superior to anything we made at home or got at the local diner. Itâs as good or better as the very fine coffee Iâve been getting while out and about. And this doesnât take up a lot of space!
Great design and concept, but does not work Unfortunately, I have had exactly the same problem as the other dissatisfied customers. The drip is so slow (no matter the grind of the coffee) that the water is cold by the time it filters through. In five minutes, I might get 2 ounces, then another 2 ounces 10 minutes later, then the water will sit (the filter being clogged) for hours. It seems easy to clean. I don’t notice any residue of coffee at all. Thus, I’m baffled as to why it does not work properly. I love the look, design, and…
