Mr. Coffee ain’t what it used to be. I purchased this coffee make primarily because I had a compatible carafe from a previously purchased similar Mr. Coffee unit. Unfortunately, the quality and longevity of Mr. Coffee units has declined over the years. The Mr. Coffee unit I purchased in the late 1980s was made in the USA and lasted for more than 20 years. LOUSY! Lousy coffee maker. Bought in March 2016 so beyond date of return. Very, very slow and finally quit all together this morning. Don’t buy it. You’ll be sorry. Ended up taking 10 year old coffee maker out of storage, it still works! I haven’t even had this one for 6 months and it’s played out. Thanks Mr. Coffee and thanks Amazon.com for your return policy on items like this. It sucks.
Noooooo! Mr. Coffee has let me down. … Noooooo! Mr. Coffee has let me down. After just a couple of months of use it no longer will pump the water to make coffee and Amazon says it is not returnable. I am going to research this further and update if Mr. Coffee or Amazon comes through with a refund or exchange.
