I Love This Pot I’ve read in some of the comments that there is not a hot-plate here, that it’s “just” the thermal pot that keeps the coffee warm. Well, my hot plate is working just fine. It also turns off after an approximately one hour. I love this little pot and it’s just perfect for my husband and me. We get up at different times. This coffee maker is wonderful. It does exactly what it’s made to do This coffee maker is wonderful. It does exactly what it’s made to do, make delicious coffee. I love the delay brew feature that allows me to set up my coffee at night and wake up to a freshly brewed cup automatically. This isn’t for large families as it only brews 5 cups. But if you’re single like me and love pouring up a big cup(s) of coffee then this is the coffee maker for you! No complaints!!
Brews Great but Carafe Not Perfect Mr. Coffee JWX9-RB 5 cup coffee maker. This coffee maker makes good coffee. Itâs easy to program to set it to brew at a specific time. The bad part is that when I pour, the coffee drips down along the carafe. It took me a few times to figure out that if I hold the lid open while pouring, it wonât drip along the carafe. I use my thump on the hand that is holding the handle to flip up the lid while pouring. So I did not give the coffee maker 5 stars as the carafe needs to be designed…
