This is the second no frills Mr. Coffee I have purchased in a year. Lasts 6 months before warming plate rusts The coffee pot does what it is supposed to however my main complaint is the rusting burner. I carefully clean and dry the carafe after every use and yet the burner rusts and then transfers a rust spot to the bottom of the carafe. This seems to occur after six months of daily use. The rust bothers me so I have cut pieces of foil to fit the burner and replace those on a weekly basis. I sure wish they would make a stainless steel warming plate that could stand up to daily use.
