When a product works perfectly it should just be left alone. Don’t fix what isn’t broken. I had a Mr. Coffee Iced Tea Maker for years and finally needed to replace it. It’s not the same though and the brewing process has changed. There used to be a lever on the side of the brew basket and the water went through much slower and accumulated in the basket so that the tea could steep. I thought the one I just received was defected and the replacement is the exact same way. No lever to adjust how long the water stays in the basket. The water just goes through and the tea is weak…

Makes great tea ! This makes 2 quarts of iced tea. Fill with water to the first line in the pitcher. Pour that into the brewer. Add about a scoop and a half of sugar (more or less to your taste) to the pitcher. Put 3 tea bags in the brewing basket. Put the brewing lid on the brewing basket and put that into the top of the pitcher. Slide the pitcher into the brewer. Press the “Brew” button and wait until it is done (about 3-5 minutes).
