This is a nice, basic coffee pot. My husband is the coffee nut in our house and he says this Mr. Coffee is absolutely fine for a machine which is only intended to brew pot after pot of coffee. Personally, I like the sleek metallic look and the configuration of the buttons arranged on the front of the machine. I should warn you right now, though, the pot does not come with one single paper filter. Really, Mr. Coffee, couldn’t you have put in a couple so we could try the pot as soon as we received it? As it was we waited…
Very happy and caffeinated! 🙂 Read all the reviews and although skeptical due to ‘plastic smell, even the coffee’ comments, ordered anyway. Glad I did. And even though there was absolutely no smell of plastic out of the box I cycled a vinegar bath through it.Â
