  1. Think Twice Before You Try This Coffee! We’ve tried a lot of different coffees in our espresso machine and liked a few of them pretty well; typically we were paying $12 up to $18 per kilo bag at Sam’s Club. While browsing different espresso/coffee sites the name Lavazza had repeatedly come up, so out of curiosity I splurged on a bag. This isn’t a coffee that wows at first sip, but it was notably better than anything we had tried to date, including from the local coffee roaster. The color of the beans is lighter than the typical…

  2. Consistent, Smooth Usually found affordable My last bag was not the freshest, but even given that I am impressed with the taste of a double shot of this coffee from my machine. 3. very very good coffee. I am used to buying dark roasts … very very good coffee. I am used to buying dark roasts from Costco and once in a while splurge on very expensive Sumatra coffee blends from Peet’s Coffee. For a medium roast coffee this blend will hold its own to the darker roasts at a reasonable price. It tastes better than anything at Costco; however Costco is cheaper. Does this coffee hold its weight against a $18- $20 a pound coffee at Peet’s not really. However, it does come close at a more reasonable price. Will buy again.
