Do not buy this one I seldom write reviews but feel obligated to do so for this product. I had always used cuisnart coffee makers, but decided to try something new when I need to replace mine. I selected this one because of the brand name “Krups”. How could it not be good.
Not as bad as some reviews say but I’m not a coffee snob, just need my coffee. I’m writing this as compared to some of the other coffee makers I’ve owned, dare I say Mr Coffee and Black and Decker. I paid a cheaper price for a “like new” coffee pot so the comparison is relative for me. Everything that others are saying is a Con, I can live with. The water reservoir has a small opening that is awkward to pour once towards the bottom but it’s not awful, you just have to pour slowly. Coffee tastesâ really good to me and is not grainy or tart. If you’re a long term Krups owner, read this before buying another Krups I had owned a Krups coffee maker for 10 years that my now wife had gotten for me. When it finally gave up in July 2015, it was a no brainer for me to buy another Krups due to my good experience with the first one.
