Great coffee!! won’t last forever I was looking for a Braun but couldn’t find one. I came across this Krups and liked the way it looked. All the other brands I looked at were black and boring or silver, which wasn’t appealing to me. I love the clock and it is easy to program. I do not have any problem putting the caraffe back in like other reviewers do. I have been using this for 2 months and the coffee is great. Updated March 2012: Good and bad of the Krups KM 1000 and Cuisinart DCC 2600 Very durable coffee maker: lasted for 5,5 years (at least 2-3 cups/day) and has packed and move several times in these 5 years. Excellent price/performance.
