A pleasant surprise I was familiar with the Krups name and was ready to buy – until I saw all the negative reviews on this site. However, after considering the content of the reviews I decided to make the leap and purchase the model.
Liked so much at work, getting one for home… Here’s the three things that are important to me, personally, in a coffee maker.
Yes, bubbles; yes, last cup out is clumsy; still makes a good cup… updated I too read the reviews, but couldn’t find another carafe type I thought worth the money, so I took the chance. Yes, I’ve had bubbles in the water level gauge – I ignored them, looked in the tank itself for the level, and/or used the travel cup I was going to use for the coffee to fill the water tank. No worries. Bubbles are gone, and I find if I fill it carefully I can avoid re-introducing them.
