BAD BAD Product. UPDATE 5-25-2018. So after sending this unit back…4 times and now it has failed again. I will say the 3rd time I received the unit it was making coffee that tasted like water and coffee was not hot. I emailed and they were O send it right in. Yea I got an email days later that said the unit was working perfectly and they were sending it back. Ummm no!, Now it is leaking again, makes this weird sounds and screen failing. ammended 10 Aug, stopped frothing milk, what a POS and KRUPS does not reply… mine never got hot enough steaming milk using the standard tube device…. I bought the Krups accessory frother (wand) from a 3rd party company (the parts not even listed or mentioned in the item description on the Krups website, whats up with that Krups ?? )…120 secs (max time) to steam 11.5 ozs of milk to 145-50 degrees, not really much control adjustment range for anything, it’s very automated…it is nice saving coffee with the auto grinder but a burden not being able to…
I am a Genius for Buying this Machine. There are many good reviews for this espresso maker. I concur. After owning a Gaggia automatic for the past 10+ years (before it broke – thank goodness), I plunked down $1000 for this one based on the reviews. The reviews are right – this thing is very nice and easy to use, with a very clear touch-screen interface. Frothing milk is simplicity itself. From cup one, this machine’s espresso and coffee just blows away anything else I’ve ever made before. It beats the crap out of the BLAH…
