Review after 4 years of ownership After two years of use I am ready to review this product. First, it makes wonderful coffee. We have made thousands of cups, and are officially ruined. Coffee elsewhere just doesn’t cut it.
awesome. They recommend no dark roast due to oily … So far, awesome. They recommend no dark roast due to oily beans, but I didn’t want to throw out the beans I had. So far, no issues. It asks if you want to rinse cycle it every time it is turned on, which is annoying. Also, it would have been much nicer if it could fit larger cups (height issue). Other than that, it is great. I don’t use the frother as I bought a stand alone which is easier to clean and works like a champ.
First espresso machine…and what a wonderful buy! This is my first espresso machine ever, so excuse my noob-ness to this whole scene. I did quite a bit of research, looked into the Breville, various Saecos and other brands. Ended up with this Krups for it’s price ($300 Amazon Warehouse Deals) and for its functionality. Being that it’s my first, I wanted some control over the overall process, but wasn’t sure I wanted FULL control over it. This machine gives you the ability to adjust the coarseness of the grind and the size of the espresso shot…
