Plastic and rubber used in portafilter and group basket They have ruined what would otherwise be a good machine by using plastic and rubber in the portafilter and group basket. It adds a chemical after taste to the extracted coffee which lingers for some time. I have two other more expensive espresso machines which work well but would benefit from a stronger pump.
