There have been no problems with a pressure lock in lid or overflowing as the reviewers from 2 years ago had.   2. This, our second unit still works flawlessly. This is our second model of this coffeemaker. We’d purchased one several years ago, then moved in early 2015. The box got dropped in the move and the coffeemaker developed a leak inside, the unit had been cracked. We’d never had problems with this over the years so we ordered another on April 9th.   3. Warm coffee and useless carafe. We are limited because we have under-counter lighting, which makes it necessary to have a coffee maker that is not too high. We also wanted one that made coffee directly into a thermal carafe. This one was the only one we found that fit our needs. It makes good coffee, but not very hot coffee. And the carafe does not keep the coffee even warm for more than an hour.
