  1. Fix: How to use non Keurig approved k-cups I bought this because I was under the assumption it was able to brew 9 different size cups. That’s not quite true. Currently, at the time of this review, there are only options to brew coffee for 4, 6, 8, 10. Typically, at least with my old Vue brewer, I made a 12oz cup every morning. However the instructions say that FUTURE kcups will allow the machine to brew 12 and 14 oz as well. It seems this is borderline false advertising.

  2. It makes a nice hot cup of coffee and the touch screen is … I bought this over a year ago, and intentionally waited to write a review. I wanted to see if it would last and it has. It makes a nice hot cup of coffee and the touch screen is helpful with cleaning / filter changing reminders. Admittedly, I have only cleaned it once in a year because I use filtered water from a pitcher, and the keurig itself has the carbon filter. I found a generic basket for my whole bean coffee, that works with this machine. Almost every coffee pod out there is keurig…

  3. “Caveat Emptor” indeed… I’ve had my K250 Plus a bit over 2 weeks now. It brews a pretty good cup of coffee. But let’s be honest here, anybody that is buying this machine is paying for the convenience of walking up to the brewer, picking a k-cup from your selection, and just over 30 seconds later having a decent tasting cup of coffee. There is great appeal to that. Whatever mood I am in, I can have a hot beverage to match my mood in seconds. Because the new 2.0 Plus brewers will not only brew coffees, but hot…
