Very nice dripper. I’m no coffee expert. I wanted a dripper for those times just a cup would be nice. I tried a couple other drippers, but the holes at the bottom were way too big. I do have a French press, but hate the grinds getting in the cup. I’m not that picky about comparing the two, or the temperatures, grinds, etc. This particular dripper is a nice color. It is easy to clean. But, more importantly, the holes are right, so you get a good brew. My only word of caution, since the holes and shape…
Beautiful Coffee Dripper I love pour over coffee. I have a plastic Melitta version of this, but wanted to try a different dripper. Although I don’t notice too much of a difference, it’s still a nicely made product. And gorgeous as well. Even though this one has three holes instead of one, the water seems to pass through slower. I’m not saying that is a bad thing, just an observation. If I don’t drop it, this should last me the rest of my life.Enjoy your coffee, however you like it!
Works for me I’ve owned numerous forms of coffee makers, and searched high and low for the perfect cup. Within the past year, we bought a Keurig and while it’s convenience is hard to beat, it’s a pricey investment. It’s also hard to find a K-cup that’s as good as other brewing methods(drip, French pressed, perked, etc).I decided to order the Kalita to replace my plastic Melitta dripper and go back to good strong coffee without paying $25 a pound(average kcup price per pound).
