JURA Smart Connect Bluetooth Adapter for Automatic Coffee Machines

Overview The new “JURA Smart Connect” uses Bluetooth communication, based on a transmitter that is simply plugged into the coffee machine. With the app you can then wirelessly operate and program the machine and link up to various accessories. The JURA Coffee App, for all coffee fans with an automatic coffee machine from JURA, also allows the user to set up his or her own coffee preferences on their tablet. The amounts, strengths and temperatures of all speciality coffees can be individually programmed, given their own display image and name and positioned anywhere on the start screen. To prepare your favourite speciality from your tablet, simply touch it and the coffee will flow into your cup, provided the coffee machine is no more than three metres away. 1. Only usefully if more than a couple user. Limited functions I got that to go with my new Jura E6. Im a bit disappointed by the features: you cant turn on or off the machine remotely. Essentially, it just puts on your phone the setting features that you find on the machine screen such as volume of water, intensity , type of drink. As a solo user, it doesn’t make a lot of to have since I have to go turn the machine on anyway, I might as well push on the button…I do see an interest in a setting with many users that like their drinks prepared differently…

  2. Very visually useful for client drink selection on a iPad Pro Good for clients to select beverages from iPad Pro. Easier to see than the control on the machine. May seem like an overkill gimmic… but the iPad Pro display is very simple for clients to just pick a beverage. Make sure they understand to put the cup there first !!! 🙂

  3. Completes the bells and whistles of machine… It functions as described… kinda senseless since you have to be practically standing in front of the unit to operate the app…. I’d prefer to see Alexa compatibility so I can turn the machine on and order my coffee from the other end of the house…
