Does it hold more than 1 cup water in reservoir for single serve?
It appears that it holds 14 oz in the reservoir on the single brew side. Unfortunately this product is currently out of stock … you might want to check this out instead! http://amzn.to/2qOvAri – it’s basically the same with a little lower price.
One of the reviews says this model only holds single cup of water in resivoir
This particular model seems to have a flaw in that the main hose that carries the water from the well to the coffee filter becomes loose or detached causing the water to run all over the counter. I went on Youtube (Dismantle Hamilton Beach Flexbrew 2 Way Coffee Maker) to find out how to dismantle and re-hook that hose. It saved me the trouble of buying a new one. This has happened several times to other’s, so Hamilton Beach should be checking their quality control as this seems not to be an isolated instance.
The model 49966 does not have a 2 hour keep warm feature, why is this?
The coffee maker has a thermal carafe. It doesn’t need to have a hot plate warmer. The carafe should keep the coffee warm for at least two hours.
