The biggest single change I noticed is that my morning coffee tastes better than it ever did I bought this coffee pot simply because our current pot is old. I’m thinking it’s because this new pot makes the water that flows over the coffee grounds much hotter than the old pot did. On top of that, this pot was rated number two (right below one that costs multiples more) and it works just fine.
OK FOR THE PRICE I checked this coffeemaker out in Consumer Reports and it got the same rating as other $100 machines so for the price, it’s not bad. My only complaints are that when the lid is up the unit stands at about 21 inches. Most kitchen cupboard are 18 inches from counter-top to the bottom of the cupboard so you need to move the pot to the very end of your counter to fill with water and coffee or put it somewhere out in the open.
