Hamilton Beach 40540 Brew Station 40-Cup Coffee Urn, Silver

The Hamilton Beach® BrewStation® 40 Cup urn offers one-hand dispensing, so there is no need to put down a buffet or party plate to fill up a cup of coffee. In a busy buffet line, that means cups can be filled faster, saving time and reducing crowding. Disposable cups are never a problem, either – the dispensing button was designed to work with foam as well as classic ceramic cups. For added convenience, the dispensing area has a higher cup clearance than most urns and the drip tray removes for easy cleaning. The last drops of a 40-cup coffee urn have rarely tasted as good until now. In the BrewStation® urn, a powerful center heater brews the entire tank quickly (45 seconds per cup versus the normal 60 seconds). Once brewed, the center heater shuts down and a gentle, keep-warm heater maintains a perfect temperature without scorching the coffee. Coffee tastes great longer, from the first cup to the last.

  1. DO NOT SERVE IN STYROFOAM CUPS I had about 30 people in my home and used the Hamilton Beach station for the first time to serve coffee. I shouldn’t have used styrofoam cups. My guests kept complaining to me that it was difficult to press the dispenser with the cup and if they used their fingers, they would burn themselves! I had to have a glass mug to dispense the coffee and then serve from mug to styrofoam cups. The coffeemaker did brew great coffee and it did maintain its temperature but the one-hand feature is not…

  2. THESE ARE A DISCONTINUED PRODUCT AND REPLACEMENTS ARE NOT AVAILABLE. If I could give this product 0 stars I would. I ordered 2 of these pots to provide coffee for my friends and family at an event. They BOTH failed and stopped working on the VERY first day of use. Leaving me in a huge bind. The first pot brewed one pot and then when I tried to make a second the light immediately came on as if it was already done brewing, alas it was nothing but hot water. When I called customer support they needed the product Model and Batch numbers, which are located on the…

  3. Not Rocket Science Had this 6 months with daily use. This is simply a hot water heater. You can cook Ramen in it if you want to. Has a stem and basket if you want to make coffee. I use mine for a rooming house. Alexa ‘on’ at 3:15am, coffee ready by 4. I turn it off at 8pm. Water temperature stays consistent, does not burn coffee like standard ‘Mr Coffee-ish’ burner. End of day if +30 cups remaining in pot, I have been known to just leave it to recycle again next day. I notice the slight lack of freshness but…
