Hamilton Beach is a Poor Coffee Maker for the $$ This replaced a Cuisinart that had on going problems with it’s toggle switch. Rather than replace it with another too expensive coffee maker I chose this Hamilton Beach 12 cup coffee maker and WOW what a difference! After one month it works well with regular city water, brews 6- 8 cups in less than 10 minutes and the coffee is fine. The water well is wide so it’s easy to fill.
