Great dependable coffeemaker for the money. After a more expensive model failed us prematurely, we decided to save some money on this model, which seemed from the store display to be a little more solidly built. We’ve owned it for 3 years now without issue, and it’s been wonderful… still brews quickly, with very little steam leakage, and no loud noises. No burned taste This is the second coffee maker of this model. The on off button quit after many years and it was time to buy another. We had replaced the lid as the gasket wore out on the original coffee maker at a cost of $15 at e replacements site. Now we have an extra carafe, and basket as we will continue to use the old ones. VERY NICE, REASONABLY PRICED COFFEE MAKER Very nice coffee maker. Hamilton Beach doesn’t make the old one anymore and glass carafes of exactly the right size and shape are almost impossible to come by for some reason… even from the manufacturer! This one has a thermal carafe, so it should last us a little longer. And, it’s not too expensive, nor does it have 50 buttons that nobody ever uses on a coffee maker, so it fills the bill very nicely.
