Great grinder, but the manual lists the coarseness incorrectly! 1 is the finest, and 15 is the coarsest. Great burr grinder, but almost returned it. Needed a grinder that would do coarse grind for Krups, and my previous grinder (Krups GVX2) was far too fine even at its coarsest setting. According the the Gourmia manual, this grinder has 15 settings, 1 for coarse, 15 for fine. So, ground a batch of coffee using the coarsest setting, and it was like powder! Wondered if the manual could possibly be wrong, so decided to grind another batch using the 15 setting, and sure enough, the coffee came out…
Great Coffee Grinder After using my new grinder for a couple of weeks now I couldn’t be more happy with it. After selecting the grind I wanted, I just dialed in the number of cups and press the button!
Coffee from flat to flavorful With a new espresso maker for Christmas, we were excited to make delicious coffee. Unfortunately we were disappointed with the taste using our old blade grinder. The Gourmia Burr Grinder made the same coffee beans go from flat to flavorful. We have the grinder preset to a medium fine grind for our espresso maker and 8 cups to fit our small storage container, making the grinding easy.
