Allows way too much water flow, not good if you like strong coffee. Easy to clean. Having the mesh screen in the bottom allows water to flow through it too fast and you end up with really weak coffee. Get the one with the solid bottom. Only way to compensate for the fast water flow is to use more coffee, which is a waste. Great for Small Coffee Pots I have been using gold filters for decades now, and this works really well with my 4-cup machine. Not only are gold filters “green,” they allow the true flavor of the coffee to get through. I like really strong coffee, and I can use less grounds because these filters allow the oils to get through. Paper filters filter out too much of a good grind. All mesh, sides & bottom Great filter. Much better than the one that came with my coffee pot. The one my pot came with was solid on the bottom and only mesh on the sides. I thought it looked wrong from the start. Tried it for a while, then ordered this one. Getting a way better brew now.
