Best reusable filter if you like nice strong coffee. Fits my 4 cup Mr. Coffee perfectly. Best reusable filter for my Mr. Coffee 4 cup single brew coffee pot. Fits perfectly and having the solid bottom means your coffee grounds actually get saturated with hot water. I had the mesh bottom before and it allowed water to flow through much too fast, yielding weak translucent coffee. I grind my beans to near Turkish powder and this filter worked just as well as the paper filters without the waste. I always measure the same amount of coffee for consistency. Just ok Worked ok but it left really heavy wet grinds and I got less coffee out of the pot because this gold tone filter has a hard plastic bottom. It does not have the mesh holes that the sides have and it seemed to hold water/coffee in. I wound up buying a different gold filter that has the same mesh on the bottom.
Great Product, Poor Packing This is my second GoldTone coffee filter purchase. I downgraded the size of my coffee pot so had to get a replacement. Very happy with the product itself but wish it had at least come in a box or some sturdier packaging (it came in a bubble mailer with only the filter inside) because it inevitably got crushed and the side of the filter is bent. Still works fine but when you pay for something new you expect it to look new when you get it.
