Even Decaf Coffee Gets a Rich Flavor I can’t believe I am going to post a review about a reusable coffee filter, but I am really glad I gave this a shot. We recently switched to decaf coffee in our household (don’t judge). There are some growing pains with the Bunn Velocity Home Brewers when you switch to decaf. Went back to paper; grounds in our coffee This seemed like a good idea, but after a few uses we went back to paper. Cleaning it is a hassle, but I could live with that if it did as good a job as paper in filtering out the grounds. Alas, it does not. We grind our own coffee, so I tried using a coarser grind, but that didn’t help much. Customer Video Review Length:: 0:15 Mins Simply put, this filter doesnât work. It leaves a silt in your coffee pot that is so fine that comes out when you pour your coffee into your cup. This is not a few rogue groundsâ this is a thick sludge of fine coffee grounds. I gagged when I drank my coffee. Do not recommend.
