Makes good coffee, but it is fragile. On the plus side, it makes great coffee. However, the glass is so fragile that you cannot pour hot water directly into it from the kettle. You must warm it up first with hot tap water (or so say the instructions). That is not a deal breaker, but it is inconvenient. Then there is the other problem. Works well, plastic feels like plastic I had a great single cup pot I loved. The handle was metal and it had this retro look to it. By comparison, this pot is okay. The plastic is serviceable but feels like plastic. The plunger fits snug, and the whole thing works well. A Decent French Press for a Reasonable Price Ever since getting one of these as a gift last year, I’ve been hooked on using a French Press for making my coffee on a regular basis.
