Looks great, works great. I love it! After I’d used this carafe about fifteen times, the tip (of the spout) just broke off and fell in my coffee. Just what I wanted, good product. Meet my expectations. I use a paper cone filter inside the S.S. filter. Boil water on stove to just under boiling. 205 deg. + or – 5 deg. is ideal temp. I heat water in microwave, maybe a cup and a half to put in the glass pitcher to pre-heat. I grind my own beans. This makes great coffee. Better than my 130.00 coffee maker. I will never go back. Also for me it keeps coffee hot for 30 + minutes.
I really like this carafe I really like this carafe. I picked it primarily because it’s unique and attractive style as well as the double walled construction.The carafe is everything I hoped it would be. It’s functional. It’s beautiful. It’s well made. I use it with a reusable metal kone style filter which is a perfect fit.I wish it didn’t have anything printed on the bottom, but this is a very small complaint and doesn’t even impact my opinion enough to deduct a star from a 5 star rating.
