Excellent Machine and Value After purchasing and returning a cheap Mr. Coffee steam espresso machine that produced nothing close to a real espresso, I decided to get serious about finding a solid “entry-level” espresso machine. I did an exhaustive (ie: ridiculous) amount of research, reading reviews at a myriad of sites, comparing prices, talking to friends who consider themselves “espresso experts”, etc. What I found first is that you will never find 100% agreement on a given machine.   2. Decent machine, with a couple annoying details, but overall good unit for $150 Great little machine for $155, although I see it bounces around a bit in price. Makes great crema and nice tasting espressos. If you’re lucky enough to have an IKEA near you, its worth going to buy their espresso beans or grounds, either at $4 for 9oz pkg. Cheapest Ive seen anywhere and its great strong stuff. 

  3. Better than Starbucks What a great buy! This is far less expensive than most others, but it works perfectly. It’s not as big as I thought it was going to be, which is a good thing, because I didn’t want it taking up the whole counter. Highly recommended – saves a lot of $$$ that would otherwise go to Starbucks. Hubby says this makes better espresso and cappuccino than Starbucks.
