Flawed junk It’s been about 6 months of great coffee. Now in recent weeks it has seen the end of days. Like other recent reviews and re-reviews, water is boiling away before ever reaching the carafe as well as it taking forever to finish brewing. This is because the lever for the front loading tray is directly connected to the tube that the water flows up through to get to the coffee. Did nobody think at all when they made this thing???? Why would you connect the lever to a plastic tube???? Why wouldn’t…
Great concept, defective execution recently (quality gone downhill) creates a mold machine. We have used DeLonghi makers in the past and the swing out door is just incredible. What a convenience!
Good Concept, but water tray doesn’t close well. Loved this at first. Have had it a couple of weeks now and the drawer where you put the water and coffee grounds in doesn’t close fully, so it steams excessively. Also, I have it set to brew at 6 am, as I wake at 6:30 – coffee is still brewing after 6:30 (finishes around 6:35 on regular, 6:45 on aroma option). Great idea and fits under the cabinet perfectly, I just don’t see how the extra steam everywhere and the terribly long brew cycle is warranted. Decent cup of coffee and very hot out…
