Efficient and reliable This is my third one of these pots. One of its predecessors was damaged due to my clumsiness and the other, now 12 years old, still works fine. I try to keep two so that I can make decaf and regular coffee at the same time. They brew quickly and keep the results drinkably warm for 4 hours. The thermal carafe does not empty easily unless tipped upside down.
