Flaw Fixed! I have been using the earlier version of this coffeemaker for a decade. This is my third one. The previous version had a tragic flaw. The coffee did not stop pouring out of the machine when you grab it mid cycle, as advertised. This resulted in the burner pad corroding. Hence the reason I have had to replace it. The actual coffee maker still worked fine. I am happy to report the flaw has been fixed! When ordering my latest one I saw that there had been an upgrade specifically addressing this…

Disappointed in this “New” version – I Haven’t Bought and Won’t Not logical nor a reasonable reason that other colors are not available. The safety shut off feature is only 30 minutes, when my previous maker shut off after 2 hours.I refuse to buy paper filters. Want permanent filters which make excellent coffee, and make my coffee pleasantly more affordable.
