It’s okay…. While I like many of the features of this coffee machine, I am not sure if it makes as good of a cup of coffee as my old Hamilton Beach machine! Even with the bold setting, the coffee tastes weaker ( working on adjusting grounds amounts) and the “hot” carafe setting isn’t really any hotter then the regular HB carafe heat. While I like the stainless streamline look of this coffee maker, the jury is still out for me on how good I really think it is.
Leaky glass caraf is an issue I have owned cuisinart coffee machines for many years and have been very happy with them. This is the first that I have owned that has what appears to be a design flaw that is making me unsatisfied. The caraf white upper ring is not sealed against the glass so every time you add water to the tank the water leaks through the inside of the glass ring and dribbles out the outside of the glass ring leaking water on the side of the unit and all over the counter.
