  1. This is Cuisinart?! I’ve used this brewer for a week now. Whoever designed this should be fired. Hiding the water level inside a black interior makes no sense to me. An overhead light does not illuminate it – I have to use a flashlight, unless I fill to the max 10 cups, which I only do once or twice a week. Usually it is only 4 cups. So, extra equipment is either a flashlight or a separate water bottle. There is no level for coffee remaining in the carafe, which is less of a problem than the fill tank. The coffee…

  2. Great Product! After reading these reviews I decided I owe it to others to write my own. I have had this coffee maker for maybe two years (long enough to really put it through the trials). 3. good machine with major quirk It’s a good machine, but the Cuisinart engineers have once again made some quirky design decisions. Weirdest is that the water level is not visible from the outside, so you need a flashlight to see down a dark tunnel to determine the water level. That aside, it works well, and it’s faster than my old Cuisinart (which died after a couple years of loyal service).
