  1. Excellent Coffee Maker This is the best coffee maker I could possibly ask for and it’s my second one of the same model. I had the first one for many years and loved it. When it came time to buy a new one, I bought the same model. It grinds fresh beans (and can also use ground coffee) and drips the coffee through a gold filter into an attractive container for serving.   2. brews a great cup of coffee brews a great cup of coffee, but you have to be diligent in cleaning out the shoots weekly otherwise it gets clogged. Also be diligent about aligning the top of the filter basket properly otherwise the grounds won’t get into the basket. I used a metalic marker to mark the line up icons since they are hard to see (black on black).

  3. 3/30/18 A+ After much deliberation I went with this one. We had the Capresso Coffee Team conical grinder but it only lasted 4 years or so. We had to go back to the old standby Melitta Mill & Brew from 06 which still works sort of. (I put it into the box the Cuisinart came from just in case we need it again) (I find, and think, any coffee maker costing over $150.00 should last at least 10 years.)So first impression is this is a solid machine, very solid.
