If your kiddo wants to make pretend coffee… My (5 yr old son) is obsessed with this coffee maker!!! It has entertained him nearly longer than any other toy to date! Small piece of advice, don’t fill past the main hole; my son realized he can and it will leak if you do so.
Nice (Small) Coffee Pot This is a very cute (but small) coffee pot. I was expecting it to be on the smaller side from the price and other reviews but it is pretty small. My son still likes it though and he really likes the saucers, cups and spoons. He was disappointed that it didn’t make any coffee pot noises (I’m personally glad that it doesn’t!) but he still has had fun playing with it. Play coffee pots/makers are hard to find for some reason…thankful to have found this one and loved that it was red since it…
Good play value The kids see adults use the coffee maker every day, so they love to pretend too. It works very well, but I have one complaint and one suggestion. The “coffee” maker itself does not hold much water – you can fill the carafe to only about 1/4 and then pour it into the maker. If the child fills the carafe even to half full, it will over flow the maker. I used a permanent marker to mark the fill line, but it’s still too bad they can’t put more water in.
