Would not buy again only because its the same as food grade Citric Acid as far as I can tell. Just buy Bags of Citric Acid and use that instead, this product and ones like it are the exact same. IMHO, waste of money, bought to verify that it was the same as food grade Citric Acid, and it is with a few other ‘ingredients’ to make it seem better or different. Would send back, not worth my time to send it back so will use it. Did an A/B comparison as a follow up now, and presto magic chango, indeed results are the same.
If your machine slows down or the coffee is cold try this to clean and restore it I had cleaned the machine a month before and it was acting funky, the coffee was not dripping fast and it felt warm but not as hot as it had. I called Capresso and they said that it may be time for an upgrade to the new model, but suggested I try another cleaning before that. They lost a sale, because this time, the cleaning worked great.
They do what they are supposed to. Seem over-priced to me. Not a lot to say about these. They work. They seem high priced to me. I know own a coffee maker that doesn’t require any kind of water filter, so no additional expense. One thing I did NOT like about these has more to do with the way the filter holder is designed on the Capresso coffee maker I had. They fit into the end of a sort of stick-like thing, and it is fiddly at best. If not in correctly, or the filter gets funky, it will cause the coffee maker to belch steam and boil off the water. It…
