How Things Work
Dual Frother
This device is easy use and performs very well. There are two parts of the frother. There is a Frothing Sleeve for cappuccinos and when the Frothing Sleeve is removed, it reveals the Steam Tube for lattes. Frothing: Frothing Sleeve is in place over the steam tube. Hot steam and air are injected into the milk. The air will swirl inside the milk creating silky dense froth on top of the milk, ideal for a cappuccino. Steaming only; Frothing Sleeve is removed to reveal the Steam Tube. Only hot steam will be injected into the milk. This is ideal for a latte. Important: To work properly, the Frothing Sleeve and Steam Tube need to be free of any milk deposits from earlier use.

Best Espresso/Latte/Cappuccino maker for the price We are big fans of Capresso, their US staff, support and most of all this product. We were ‘gifted’ a remanufactured one many years ago. We just purchased the 4th over 6-8 years. They are workhorses for us. We usually brew 4-6 cups of latte a day. I have one in my LA apartment, and both my sons own the same unit. Best for the price in home use (0-3 times a day) bracket. This is my second purchase. The previous one I used for about 18 months and have loved it. I donât know if it failed do to my mis-use or just planned obsolescence or limited durability of parts â I did not like the change in sound or speed and think a pressure regulator may have failed.
